»All’s well that ends well«

… is my spontaneous reaction when I think of the HfG’s new building project. What an impressive design!

For many years, during my time on the HfG University Council, I wondered whether it would even be possible to push this project through politically. That said with much rousing enthusiasm, political nous, and his own special charm, Bernd Kracke has managed to do just that. What an achievement! With Boris Rhein and Angela Dorn, though, he also had courageous decision-makers as his counterparts.

I really look forward to my first visit to the new HfG. For many HfG students, the new campus will doubtless be an inspiring space for their artistic and creative development.
